BodBot Arcade Games Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 23, 2026

Scope

This policy covers the following mobile games published by BodBot:

The BodBot website and the main BodBot Personal Trainer app are covered separately by the BodBot Privacy Policy. The arcade games are standalone: they do not connect to BodBot accounts or BodBot servers.

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no ads. The camera never records you and camera data never leaves your device. The only data the games collect is anonymous usage analytics: which games get played and for how long. We use it for one purpose, to learn which games are fun so we can make them better.

Camera

The games use your device's camera as the controller. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device by an on-device pose-estimation model to detect movements such as squats and jumps. Camera frames, and any data derived from them (including poses and body positions), are never stored, never uploaded, and never leave your device. This is unchanged from earlier versions of the games and it is not affected by the analytics described below: analytics receives no camera data of any kind.

Usage analytics

The games use Google Firebase Analytics to collect basic, pseudonymous usage information:

The games do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, advertising ID, or any camera or health data. Analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google processes this data on our behalf; Google's terms for this service are at firebase.google.com/terms. Resetting the per-install identifier is as simple as uninstalling the game; uninstalling also ends all collection.

Network

Gameplay itself is fully offline; every game runs from files shipped inside the app. The network is used only for the analytics described above and to support casting or screen mirroring to a TV that you initiate. No gameplay video or personal data is transmitted to BodBot or to anyone else.

Children

These games are intended for users 13 and older. They are not directed at children, and they collect no personal information from anyone; the analytics described above is pseudonymous usage data only.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. The only data we hold is the pseudonymous analytics described above, which we cannot link back to you. If you would like the analytics data associated with your install deleted, contact us at the address below from within the 14-month retention window and we will work with you to remove it, or simply uninstall the game to stop all collection.

International data transfers

Analytics data is processed by Google and may be stored on servers in the United States and other countries, under Google's standard data-protection terms for Firebase, which include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this privacy policy

August 23, 2026: added the Usage analytics section above. Earlier versions of the games collected no data at all; versions from 1.1 onward collect the anonymous usage analytics described here. The camera promise is unchanged: nothing from your camera ever leaves your device. If a future version changes any of the above, we will update this policy and the in-store data safety disclosures before that version ships, and note the change prominently on this page.
