Set-up: Find a cable tower with handles that can be positioned adjacent to one another. Keeping your back neutral and core braced, face the tower and grasp the two handles.
Movement: With your arms extended and hands grasping the cables, pull the cables apart to your sides. At the end of the movement your shoulder blades should be retracted with your arms nearly straight out from your sides (keeping a slight bend in your elbows).
Emphasis: Focus on your shoulder blades throughout the movement. Keep them stable and do not use momentum or swing at any point.
